Outlook 2016 compatibility tab

In Microsoft Office 2016 apps DPI scaling system renders all office products looking like blurry messes and you definitely need to disable DPI scaling via the compatibility tab – but the problem is there isn`t compatibility tab anymore in app properties. Instead of that, you have to use Troubleshoot compatibility wizard. Go through the wizard and select the option for ‘The program opens but doesn’t display correctly’. This will turn off the DPI zoom

How to hide new pages in managed metada navigation?

When you use managed metadata options for global navigation on SharePoint site, you may face the problem with new pages. By default it is automatically visible next to regular top navigation items. In many cases, we need to hide those pages.

 

Simply, deselect option “Add new pages to navigation automatically” as shown on image. Good luck!

Managed Metadata Navigation not visible for Anonymous Users in SharePoint 2013

Unfortunately managed metadata navigation this doesn’t work for anonymous users of SharePoint 2013. The menu item and all children under it will not be visible, unless you define direct link:

 

  • Open Site Settings
  • Open Term Store Management Tool
  • Choose your Term Store
  • Open NAVIGATION tab
  • Enter URL in Simple Link or Header field
  • Confirm
